Carhartt's 'Remote Collection' has dropped featuring seasonal outdoor wear with military and utilitarian influences.
Carhartt have established a unique lane for themselves as a manufacturer of durable and reliable workwear while also being a street apparel brand at the same time.
Carhartt rarely even use the term 'streetwear' in marketing. It is one of those brands that never set out to be a streetwear label. Rather the streets chose Carhartt and its functional apparel became streetwear.
The Remote Collection features a range of outdoor pieces with function and utility as its themes.
The collection represents a contemporary rework on carhartt's WIP apparel, water and wind resistant fabrics have been added to the utilitarian and military silhouettes.
The military pieces are part of Carhartt's Military Program, which include Military hip bag, a PVC Rain Poncho and a safety-orange tarpaulin C.O. Picnic Blanket.
The collection is displayed in the gallery below. Photographs by Coley Brown.
