Converse's All Star Pro BB basketball sneaker has released its popular All Star Pro BB in two colorways, camo and an animal print.
The All Star Pro BB is the result of collaboration between the shoe company and legendary Nike innovator, Erik Avar.
An elite basketball shoe, it is designed for the contemporary, multi-directional basketball player.
The silhouette, originally released in May this year, marks a return for Converse to the basketball shoe market.
Billed as a high top with the mobility of a low top, these Chuck Taylors feature an iconic single-layer upper and sole featuring Nike’s innovative React foam, a soft, dynamic and responsive material that provides surety of movement and stability on a Basketball court.
Chuck Taylors have seen numerous camo prints over the years, with the first appearing back in 1983 and the latest incarnation is a nod to the original print.
Prices are yet to be confirmed but should be around the $140 mark – the launch price of the original BB.
The All Star Pro BB hosts a number of features, which differentiate it from other Chuck Taylors.
It features a minimal, semi-transparent mid-top design that plays like a low-top basketball shoe, allowing the body and feet to move naturally.
A quad-axial woven upper provides dimensional stability and responsive lockdown, for high-impact resistance during multi-directional stress.
A REACT drop-in midsole provides both comfort and a springy response, when jumping and cutting.
The BB still reflects the identity of the original Chuck Taylors with a minimalistic All Star patch, diamond pattern outsole, foxing tape and pinstripe on the midsole.
