Garmin drops military tough Instinct Tactical for street or field

Updated: Oct 7, 2019

American consumer technology company Garmin has released a new Tactical Edition of its shock-resistant Instinct line.

Delivering innovative GPS technology across diverse markets, Garmin has released the new Instinct Tactical Edition, a watch with all the tech and toughness you’ll ever need whether lost in a city or the great outdoors.

With genuine military-grade construction (U.S. military standard 810G), this field-ready watch is as tough as they get.

Not only is it shock, thermal and water resistant, it features a fiber-reinforced polymer case and a chemically strengthened display that compliments a set of night vision goggles.

A true tactical timepiece, it features stealth mode, Jumpmaster, waypoint projection, dual-position GPS formatting and preloaded tactical activity.

As tactical in the street as it is in the field, the Instinct will monitor your heart rate¹, activity and stress. It also enables you to train with preloaded activity profiles and stay connected with smart notifications.

You’ll never get lost again with the TracBack® feature, which will navigate you back to your starting point if lost.

Supported by the Garmin Explore™ website and app, you can strategically plan your trips in advance.

The watch comes in military tones of black or coyote tan.

The Instinct Tactical Edition is available now at Garmin’s online store for $350 USD.
