No Bull drops Ripstop Runner in Army, Navy and Black

The Ripstop Runner is developed from a lightweight, breathable, perforated polyester ripstop material originally developed for the military.

Launched in May 2015 by two former Reebok employees who believed contemporary fitness shoes to be over-engineered, No Bull as the name suggests is a shoe company focused on simplicity.

The company sells basically one silhouette in a variety of color patterns and materials. No Bull shoes are minimalist, lightweight, comfortable and durable. The brand believes that is all you really need in a shoe and judging by sales they appear to be right.

The latest variant features a durable, ripstop fabric that was originally developed in World War II as a replacement for silk in the production of parachutes.

A light-weight nylon fabric with interwoven ripstop reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern, Ripstop is woven with coarse, strong warp and filling yarns at intervals so that tears will not spread.

Unlike some ripstop fabrics, No Bull has developed a breathable variant featuring perforations. This translates to a compelling use case in shoes where durability, comfort and weight can be a tradeoff. The No Bull Ripstop Runner is available for men and women in three colours - Army, Navy and Black.
