First delivery of Tokyo Brand Nonnative's military-influenced Fall/Winter 2019 is now available at Haven.
Nonnative is a word which means not indigenous or native to a particular place. It perfectly illustrates Nonnative broad influences that stretch far beyond the brand’s home in Tokyo.
Founded by Satoshi Saffen in 1999, the label began life with a single T-Shirt during the height of the Ura-Harajuku movement in Japan, a period that has come to symbolize the unrestrained soul of Japanese street fashion.
Born in Tokyo, but not of Tokyo, Nonnative is regarded as a heavyweight brand in Japan, that are experts in reimagining military, utility and workwear staples with contemporary and refined design tweaks.
FW19 sees the brand further experiment with the military design aesthetic, with retakes on some cornerstone military-inspired classics and some more contemporary technical wear.
Check out some of the more military and utilitarian-inspired pieces in the gallery below.
The first drop from this Nonnative's FW19 collection is now available at Haven.
