Indonesian technical gear imprint ORBITGear has linked up with Malaysia’s idle/idō for a collaborative capsule of technical wear entitled “PROJECT OSMOSIS".
The two brands found synergies in their approach to design.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, idle/idō seeks a sense of equilibrium between stillness and motion, while Jakarta’s ORBITGear is focused on “functional and practical design to improve user's commuting experiences”.
The collaborative capsule collection is designed to “bring balance to one’s lifestyle through the process of OSMOSIS.”
This highly functional, all-black collection takes clear design cues from elite military apparel.
Manufactured by the craftsmen at ORBITgear’s Jakarta studio, the capsule includes a windproof jacket with detachable hood, a 2Way Pack in a shape resembling an Onigiri & a Noragi.
Our highlights are the functional tactical looking pants with big pockets and MOLLE-like webbing loops - both striking, durable and practical. The OSMOSIS jacket is another highlight, handcrafted from a windproof breathable shell, with a removable hood, six pockets for your EDC and quality details like YKK zippers.
An ONIGIRI 2Way Pack is also featured with the collection, cut from elecor 580D, fits a 13” MBP it can be used as both a backpack and cross-body bag.
A co-branded printed T-Shirt with subtle printing details round out the collection.
