Swiss watchmaker and Japanese streetwear brand have teamed up for a watch collection SWATCH x BAPE SS19.
SWATCH is a Swiss watchmaker synonymous with high-quality craftsmanship.
While BAPE is a Japanese streetwear doyan founded in 1993 by Nigo in Ura-Harajuku.
At first glance the two brands don't appear to have much in common.
Where they do crossover is in unwavering originality.
SWATCH differs from luxury watch brands that seek status. SWATCH wristwatches are pop fashion items made with plastic materials designed to be worn casually.
Formed ten years later, BAPE features striking originality in its designs, with the brand from Tokyo leaving an indelible mark on street culture globally.
Both brands have come together for the first time to celebrate SWATCH's latest release "BIG BOLD" with a range of camo watches.
All models will be available at BAPEXCLUSIVE™ AOYAMA, BAPE STORE® KYOTO, and BAPE.COM WEBSTORE from Saturday June 1st.
The World model will be available at A BATHING APE® Japan locations followed by the global release on Saturday, June 15th.
